Original Items: One-of-a-kind grouping. Here we have a fantastic German WWII Luftwaffe Paperwork Grouping, named to Hans Kozelka, who worked as Air Intelligence during the war. He was captured and held as a POW in Norway, and then eventually repatriated to Soviet-Controlled territory. Included are his Wehrmacht Wehrpaß with the correct Luftwaffe stamping, his Luftwaffe Soldbuch identification and payment book, a photo of Kazelka, and all types of other documents. Most of these are related to his service in the German Luftwaffe.
There is even a Erkennungsmarke Identity Disc / Dog Tag that matches the POW paperwork, though it does look to be a post war issued aluminum example, as it is practically new. It is marked with ID number 146 and 54561, the Luftwaffe Mobilierungs Nummer (Luftwaffe mobilization number) for 5. / Ln. Regt. 5 and 3. / Ln. Abt. 335. Consulting Kozelka’s soldbuch show that he was indeed part of the Luftnachtrichten Regiment 5 (Luftwaffe Signal Regiment 5).
Also included with the German documents is POW paperwork stamped HQ ALLIED LAND FORCES. NORWAY, dated 20. Juni 1940, as well as additional paperwork in Russian and German, which is dated 6 Juli 1946, indicating he continued to be held there post war.
A truly great grouping with loads of translation and research potential!
