Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German Luftschutz leather belt with steel buckle. The Air Protection Warning Service (Luftschutzwarndienst-LSW) was a civilian organization whose purpose it was to alert the population of impending air raid attacks. The buckle is in very good condition, and there does appear to be a marking on it, but it is no clear enough to decipher the maker.
It measures approximately 37” when fully extended, the buckle end is stamped 105. The leather is in excellent aged condition, and the belt was definitely shortened at least once during service life.
Overall condition is very good condition rare belt with an exception eye appeal.
