Original Item: IMA has just received a fresh and final shipment of these classic German Wehrmacht LP42 signal flare pistols that entered service in 1943. Every Leuchtpistol 42 is steel construction, 26.5 mm, and bears original German maker code; euh, that stands for- C. u. W. Meinel-Scholer, Klingenthal in Sachsen.
This particular group of pistols was captured by the British at the end of WW2 who marked them: 1″ in a circle and then supplied them to Israel where they saw service in the Middle Eastern Campaigns of the 1960s and 1970s after which they were sold as surplus and have laid in deep well controlled storage ever since
Completely Original German WW2 manufacture in good/very good complete condition with bakelite fluted grip panels. This is a very hard to find World War Two item with a fascinating history. Very limited supply, this is the last known source on the collectors market.
Holster, Cleaning Rod, and inert flares are available separately.
