Original Items: Only One Pair Available. Here we have a very nice condition highly desirable German WWII MP 40 left side triple magazine pouch with attached magazine loader pouch, showing signs of light use during the war. Constructed from blue blended webbing material as seen on other period German WWII field gear. The rectangular stitching on the bottom of the pockets is a known feature for the maker Rahm & Kampmann of Kaiserslautern, who used three letter code “gmo”. The leather belt loops on the back of the pouch are faintly marked with the gmo maker code next to a faint 41 date.
There is also a Waffenamt Eagle / WaA145 inspection stamp next to the maker code, which is not the stamp usually seen with this maker, but has been seen on other pouches such as this. From what we can tell Rahm & Kampmann mostly made holsters, so this is definitely a rarer maker.
The leather components show wear and some deterioration commensurate with service and age, showing cracking to the finish, and the closure strap for one pouch has torn off at the eyelet. The canvas shows wear around the edges, which has worn the dye of of the canvas in those areas. There is also a bit of oxidation on the steel fittings.
A lovely service used example that was “really there”, ready to be a part of any MP40 display!
