Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß) with the correct black leather belt. It is embossed with the wartime Luftwaffe straight tail eagle inside a laurel wreath on the front. A very nice injection molded aluminum construction box buckle with a pebbled background. The buckle is in very good condition, with all the pebbling in good condition, and most of the detail in the eagle present. The buckle is marked with an interlocking P u C in a diamond, for maker Paulmann & Crone of Lüdenscheid, a city with large garment accessories industry.
The belt itself measures about 36” from end to end, made from thick leather with the standard leather tab with 7 pairs of holes attached to it for size adjustment. It is marked with 90 on the buckle end for 90cm (35.43 in.) so it may have stretched just a bit. The leather is definitely worn, but condition is solid with no holes or tears, and leather is soft and pliable. There is a D&C marking on the steel belt clip.
Overall a very nice example of a hard to find WWII German Belt and buckle, with some great markings. Ready to display!
