Original Items: Only One Lot of 16 Available. This is a wonderful opportunity, especially for the new collectors out there wanting to add a beautiful assortment of items to their collection. Whether you are wanting to get into collecting or just add to already existing collections, you do not want to miss out on this lot.
The Items Featured In This Lot:
– NSKOV Veterans Association Armband: The armband has minor wear and staining to it with little moth nips present. Measures approximately 14” x 3 ½” and is sewn together in the back.
– Unissued Luftschutz Breast Insignia Sheet: These are unissued examples but do have minor age toning and stains present. The uncut sheet measures 17 ¼” x 2”.
Uncut Luftwaffe Sports Shirt Insignia: The insignia has minor age toning and fading present. Measures approximately 10 ½” x 5 ½”.
– Unissued Edelweiss Sleeve Insignia: This appears to have never been used, but it was sewn onto a red background, probably by the veteran who brought it home.
– Schutzpolizei Sleeve Eagle: Appears to have never been sewn onto a uniform.
Political Leader Visor Cockade: The cockade is silver bullion with a brown felt backing. Appears to be unissued with minimal wash loss.
– Embroidered Jäger Sleeve Patch: The patch appears to be unissued but does have minor moth nips on the edges.
– Luftwaffe NCO Specialty Sleeve Ratings: The patches are as follows: Mechanized Transport, Teletype Operator and Signals Operator. All are in lovely condition but the Signals Operator patch has extensive moth nips to it.
– Heer Army Specialty Sleeve Ratings: The patches are Radio Mechanic and Oberschutze rank pip sleeve insignia. Both are in lovely condition with minor fading and little moth nips.
– NSKK 2nd Pattern Drivers Sleeve Diamond: The patch is padded with a felt interior and appears to have been cut from a uniform. Most of the stitching is intact with minor stitch loss at the top.
– Kriegsmarine Specialty and Rank Patches: The patches are in lovely condition and are as followed: Motor Transport Petty Officer and Obermaat (Chief Petty Officer) fouled anchor insignia.
– Deutscher Reichskriegerbund Veterans League Visor Badge: A stamped alloy insignia, roughly in the form of an oval, 40mm wide and 50mm tall. To its oval center is the image of the “Kyffhäuser,” a monument to a united Germany located in Saxony, with “Der Kyffhäuserbund” arching above it, and “Seinem Kameraden” beneath. A bound, open-topped wreath of oak leaves is along the base of the center oval, and rays project outwards along its top.
