Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a very nice collection of German WWII Insignia with a lovely belt buckle, which was brought back from the European theater by a USGI after the war was concluded. It includes an NSDAP Police Pebbled aluminum belt buckle, some Gebirgsjäger Mountain Trooper insignia, and other cloth BeVo Embroidered items.
This lovely set includes:
– One Gebirgsjäger Mountain Trooper Alpen-Edelweiß (Mountain Noble White) machine embroidered sleeve badge, embroidered with white, yellow, and green thread on a field gray cloth backing. There is no bullion used, so this is for an EM/NCO.
– One Gebirgsjäger Mountain Trooper Alpen-Edelweiß (Mountain Noble White) metal cap badge.
– One German WWII Luftwaffe Sports Shirt Eagle Insignia for M35 Sport Shirt. It is unissued and marked BEVO-WUPPERTAL on the end.
– One German WWII Heer Army Sports Shirt Eagle Insignia for M35 Sport Shirt. It is stained, and looks to have been used extensively before being cut off the shirt
– One German WWII RAD National Labor Service Insignia for M35 Sport Shirt. It still has the original issue markings on the lower left. It was installed on a shirt at some point, but then unstitched post war.
-One German WWII Pebbled Aluminum Police EM/NCO Belt Buckle by Richard Sieper und Söhne, dated 1935. This is a very early pattern injection molded example, marked R.S.&S. on the buckle, and with faint markings on the leather tab.
– One German WWII Machine Embroidered Wehrmachtadler Heer Breast Eagle. White stitching on green badge cloth. It still has the original protective backing, and does not look to have ever been attached to a uniform.
– One German WWII Unit Insignia with 7 in the center and 11 in the upper right.
A fantastic set with some great display and research potential!
