Original Items: Only One Set of Three Available. This is a very nice set of three WWII Era German belt buckles (Koppelschloßen), offered in very good condition. All are the standard box pattern, in use since before the first world war. This lovely set consists of the following buckles:
– One German WWII Era HJ Aluminum Belt Buckle. It is embossed with the HJ motto Blut und Ehre (Blood and Honor) over the National eagle perched on the HJ Diamond Emblem. The buckle is of standard early war pattern, with cast aluminum alloy construction. It shows only light wear, has a small bend in it and is marked on the back with (RZM) M4 / 27 for Overhoff & Cie. of Lüdenscheid.
-One very nice WWII German Wehrmacht Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß) It is embossed with the wartime Luftwaffe straight tail eagle. Nice aluminum 2-piece construction box buckle with a pebbled background. The buckle is in very good condition, with all the pebbling in good condition, and most of the detail in the eagle present. There are no markings on the buckle.
-One painted 1944 Dated Wehrmacht Army Heer Steel Buckle by CTD (C. Theodore Dicke). This is a very nice service worn WWII German Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM/NCO’s Belt with Steel Buckle (Koppelschloß). The buckle is embossed with the Heer motto GOTT MIT UNS (“God with us”) surrounding a NSDAP Party Eagle. Nice fieldgrey painted steel construction box buckle with a smooth background. The buckle is in good condition, though much of the paint is worn off, and it looks like the buckle was repainted at some time, and the paint wore off again. Definitely a buckle that saw extensive service.
-One Aluminum Wehrmacht Army Heer Buckle. This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht (Heer) EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß). It is embossed with the Heer motto GOT MIT UNS (“God with us”). Nice fieldgrey painted aluminum construction box buckle with a pebbled background. The buckle is in very good condition, but does have most of its paint missing. The underside is maker marked on the back Dr. F. & Co. for Dr. Franke & Co. of Lüdenscheid.
These are very nice examples of service worn buckles, ready for display!
