Original Item: One-Of-A-Kind! This is a genuine USGI ringback and recently acquired directly from the veterans family in New Jersey. This is a wonderful, carefully assembled collection of professional photographs and personal snapshots from WW2. It is the album of a Gefreiter (Lance Corporal) in the S. Batterie of the 47th German Wehrmacht Artillerie-Regiment and is dated November 3rd 1937 through 1939.
The first page reads as follows:

The album cover is an attractive, deeply textured brown leatherette with a finely detailed soldiers head wearing a Herr (Army) helmet complete with eagle and swas.
The first page has a profession photo of our subject with two Herr helmet decals and a hand drawn color wax pencil rendering of his 47th regiment uniform epaulette.
The album is 48 pages in length and features 127 photos that range from photos of fellow soldiers, artillery firing, group photos, various vehicles including half tracks, motorcycles, airplanes, personal time, ladies, vacations, and deployment in the field. All but 2 photos appear to be present, it is certainly one of the most comprehensive photos albums weve ever offered and worthy of extensive research.
The cover measures 12 x 8.5.
