Original Items: Only One Set Available. An excellent example of a WWII German Army Enlisted Waist belt, Buckle, paired with a set of K98 ammunition pouches. A perfect example that is ready for display as is, or to pair with a uniform on a torso mannequin
This Set Includes:
-Belt and Buckle: The buckle is a Pre-War cast aluminum buckle, complete with 1937 dated keeper. This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß). It is embossed with the Heer motto GOT MIT UNS (“God with us”) surrounding a NSDAP Party Eagle. The reverse of the buckle exhibits remnants of original feldgrau paint. The belt length is approximately 39” long and is offered in great condition. It does show signs of heavy wear and use. All stitching is intact, with one small area of stitching loss to the securing tab. Of note, the belt hook matches the age and wear of the buckle perfectly, even down to the exact hue of the feldgrau paint remnants.
-Mauser 98k Ammunition Pouches (Pair): Now this is a beautiful pair of pouches. These are the “triple” ammunition pouches and are both constructed of blackened leather. One pouch is marked with an RBN number, while the other has a faint oval maker mark. The pouches are in excellent condition with all straps and tabs intact and unbroken. The internal dividers, however, have been removed at some point. This was not an uncommon alteration by German soldiers, and the set displays nicely all the same.
This is a wonderful set up and comes ready to display in your Wehrmacht collections!
