Original Item: After WW1, the French, like other European countries at the time, developed a light machine gun. The final version was designated the Mle 1924-29, although it is more likely to be called the Chatellerault after the French arsenal of that name. After WW2, it was supplied to various French client states in the Middle East. IMA has a small quantity of original oilers for the Mle 1924-29.
Marked HUILE, the French word for oil. It holds about 90 ml of oil, and is well made with a machined brass top and cap.
