Original item: Only One Available. This is a very nice set of WWII French 8 x 24 trench binoculars, made by Huet Paris. They are painted in a German hue of tan, which gives this set the possibility of having been captured by the Germans and then repurposed amongst their ranks.
The front right plate still displays all information:
HUET
PARIS
NO 6639
8X24
H/6400
Both sides of the Binoculars have clear optics, with both eye cups present and the focus diopters moving freely. The range reticle in the right side is clear. The eye width adjustment is functional, and it still has a complete and intact handle, though the button to lock it in place is quite stiff, and has to be pushed in manually.
The leather case is in good, complete condition. The carry strap are present and in solid condition, as is the lid closure tab. There is minor verdigris present on the brass fitting, but nothing too damaging.
This is a very nice set that comes ready for display.
