We did some research on CLAUDE HUGUET of QUEBEC and found out that he was a prosperous merchant living in Quebec married to CHARLOTTE LA MOTTE who bore him a son PIERRE on 24th. January 1749. The family moved to Montreal in 1770, So it is safe to say that CLAUDE HUGET was in Quebec in 1759 when the British General James Wolf captured the city at the BATTLE OF QUEBEC at the Heights of Abraham where both he, the British Commander and the French Commander, the Marquis De Montecalm, were killed.
