Original Item: One-of-a-kind. In approximately 8mm Pin Fire, this is a lovely medium sized six shot revolver made circa 1860 in France by the famous maker Eugene Lefaucheux, the son of famous gunsmith Casimir Lefaucheux. The revolver functions in Both double and single action, and is beautifully inlaid with silver leaves and gold lines throughout, especially on the cylinder. It is marked on the right side of the barrel near the cylinder:

INVR BREVETE
The INVR stands for Inventeur, the French word for Inventor. There is also a serial number of 807 stamped below the cylinder among the engraving. It still retains the original yellowed antique ivory/bone grip plates and the grip displays its original lanyard ring. A lovely self defense revolver just perfect for the over coat pocket in Paris’s Red Light Section late at night.
