Original Item: Only One Available. This is a full scale rubber replica non-firing prop SWD/Cobray Street Sweeper shotgun as used in the Hollywood film Godzilla (1998). This was acquired from the Ellis Props and Graphics liquidation auction. Ellis was the oldest and the largest Prop Houses in the World until it went our of business in the early 2000s.

The vast Ellis collection was acquired beginning in 1908, when a pawn shop, Ellis Mercantile, began renting merchandise to early filmmakers. According to Ellis Props, it began when a studio employee wanted to buy a glass eye. The pawn shop decided to rent it in case the owner returned, and it continued the practice with other items.

During the film When Godzilla charges a U.S. Army roadblock, some of the soldiers are shown firing at him with, oddly, Street Sweeper shotguns, a weapon that has never been used by any branch of the U.S. military. U.S. soldiers fire upon Godzilla during the second big confrontation with the monster. The soldiers are armed with M4A1 carbines, Street Sweeper shotguns, and at least one Heckler & Koch HK94A3 chopped and converted to resemble an MP5A3.
