Original Items. One-Of-A-Kind Group. This is a tremendous uniform set for a Generalleutnant of the Border Troops of the German Democratic Republic. The green piping of the shoulder boards, cuffs, collars, collar tabs, and cap are indicative of the Border Guard. The uniform comes with its original visor cap, belt, and gold cord.

The uniform jacket has shoulder boards with green piping for the rank of Generalleutnant, which translates and equates to Lieutenant General.

The uniform group consists of:
• General’s jacket with Generalleutnant shoulder boards, gold cord, General’s collar tabs with green backing, a Soviet graduation badge above the right breast pocket, and eight medals above the left breast pocket including the Patriotic Order of Merit of the German Democratic Republic (GDR), the Combat Order of Merit for the People and the Fatherland, the Gold Medal of Merit of the Border Troops of the GDR, the Silver Medal of Merit of the Border Troops of the GDR, the Bronze Medal of Merit of the Border Troops of the GDR, the Silver DDR Medal of Brotherhood in Arms, the Bronze DDR Medal of Brotherhood in Arms, and the Medal for Faithful Service in the National People’s Army.
• East German General Officer’s visor cap with green piping and band for Border Guard. Visor is Size 56. Stamped MADE IN EAST GERMANY. Great Shape.
