Original Items: Only One Available. This is a very large brass “gang” bullet mold, measuring an impressive 19 inches in overall length, with a large 8 1/2 inch long mold portion. As best we can tell, the bullet diameters produced are about 0.28 inches, 0.45 inches, and 0.63 inches. Due to the padding usually applied on muzzle loading bullets, these would probably be for .30, .50, and .69 or something similar. The mold has spaces for 16 of the 0.63″ bullets, 5 of the 0.45″ bullets, and 4 of the 0.28″, for a total of 25 bullets.
The mold originally looks to have had 4 iron cross pins to hold it closed, however the two on the interior of the mold section have broken off, with only the two at the end present. Also the handle is a bit bent, so it is not possible to close the mold all the way at present.
A very interesting and LARGE example, which would have definitely made it easy to pump out a large amount of bullets in a relatively short amount of time.
