Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely vibrant flintlock pistol featuring a high shine brass 9.5 barrel very nicely embossed with decoration. The borderline engraved lock plate is also polished brass as is all the furniture. The eared brass butt cap displays a grotesque mask and the wood stock is finely carved around tang and fore end. The pistol retains an all wood ramrod which appears to be true to the period.
The brass lock plate is marked:

A very nice Flintlock pistol smothered in brass dating from the first half of the 18th century, ready to display in any European or colonial collection of Flintlock weapons.
