Original Item: Only One Available. Rare on todays market these were originally manufactured in Flintlock as the Model 1774 Flintlock Jäger rifle used by Denmark and then in 1841 converted to a percussion ignition system. Interestingly it still retains the “dog” safety catch on the rear of the hammer.
Measuring 44″ overall with a 29″ heavily rifled barrel and double leaf back sight. All brass mounts, lock bears serial number number 669, with Crown over K proof mark. The barrel retains regimental markings of: OJR 2IC No.36. Complete with heavy steel ramrod and wood lidded patch box in the butt. Offered in really fine cleaned condition and ready to display.
