Original Items: One Pair Available. Once common on the surplus market, supplies of these phones have unfortunately dwindled. We acquired this pair as part of a private collection of Military telephones. These are original TP 25 Field telephones, manufactured in the 1950s-1960s in what was then called Czechoslovakia. They do not have any maker markings, but most likely they were made by TESLA, which was located in what is today the Slovak Republic.
Similar to the German FF-33 phone, these were used by the Czechoslovakian army. Heavy duty Bakelite box with an inside engraving that reads POZOR, NEPŘÍTEL NASLOUCHÁ! (Beware the enemy is listening). They Measure approximately 10” long x 6 ½” tall x 3” wide, and look to have most of the original accessories. One example is missing some screws and the battery compartment locking bolt, but otherwise both look to be complete. They both have the connection cord, handsets, and cranks, as well as intact phonetic alphabet markings on the top covers.
A very nice set, ready to display!
