Original Item: Only One Available. This is a perfect example of a rather rare Bulgarian GHD-2 hand grenade, complete with AF-11 Fuse assembly and blue plastic case. GHD-2 is defensive hand grenade filled with 58g of RDX and 750 ball preformed fragments inside. This type of grenade is intended for destruction of enemy manpower and light non-armoured vehicles at the time of enemy repulse.
Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or drilled in an BATF-approved manner so that they cannot be used as ammunition components for destructive devices, are not considered NFA weapons. This example is in total compliance and is NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT.
The grenade itself is in wonderful condition and does not appear to have ever seen use aside from a possible classroom environment in training soldiers. The grenade body is marked with “GHD-2 / RDX”. The AF11 fuse is marked properly and the spoon has a date of 01-13.
A great example ready for further research and display.
