Original Item: Condition is grade 2, in this case they may be missing the bayonet catch, and will definitely have some damage to the hilt. The blades on these will have rust, and will most likely be loose in the hilt. Perfect for a repair or customization project.
Colonial issue (Nepalese or Indian manufactured) 19th Century Brunswick brass hilt bayonet with knuckle guard, no scabbard available. For use with the Brunswick P-1837 Percussion Two Groove Infantry Rifle.
Approximate Overall Length: 26.5 inches
What does GRADE 2 mean? It means these were handmade more than 150 years ago. They were stored in poor condition in the Himalayan Mountains and may show age, rust, cracks, bends, dings, missing parts, defects, and will be banged up but in overall decent condition. Again, these will be far from perfect, but they are 100% genuine!
May fit other rifles with similar attachment system (see photos).
Please be aware that all bayonets were specifically fitted to each gun when issued over 150 years ago, so some fitting will almost certainly be required to fit to your gun.
