Original Item: Only one available. The No.1 Mk.5 signal pistol closely follows the design of the classic WWI Brass Webley & Scott MkIII* flare pistol, with the distinctive flared muzzle. However instead of brass, for WWII Steel flare pistols were the norm, a much more sturdy metal when used in the field. It is faintly marked on the right side of the frame with PISTOL SIGNAL IN No1 MK5 as well as Israeli import markings.
This example is in fair condition, with worn grips and lanyard ring. The pistol still retains some of its original black painted finish, a wartime expedient factory finish which was both inexpensive and durable. The pistol appears to no longer be functional, with mechanical issues such as the extractor not working nor the securing latch for the breach. Ready to display!
