Original Item: Only one available. The No.1 Mk.5 signal pistol closely follows the design of the classic WWI Brass Webley & Scott MkIII* flare pistol, with the distinctive flared muzzle. However instead of brass, for WWII Steel flare pistols were the norm, a much more sturdy metal when used in the field. It is faintly marked on the right side of the frame with PISTOL SIGNAL IN No1 MK5.
This example is in good condition, with very nice grips with an intact lanyard ring. The pistol still retains some of its original black painted finish, a wartime expedient factory finish which was both inexpensive and durable. The side of the barrel and receiver are both stamped with serial number 066951. The pistol appears to be fully functional, with no mechanical issues. Ready to display!
