Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice Original British WORLD WAR TWO era Royal Navy White Ensign (flag), a type of flag used exclusively by the Royal Navy. It has a large cross of St. George in the “field” of the flag, with a British Union Jack in the upper left-hand “canton” next to the header. A very displayable large size of 71″ x 36″, this was probably used on a smaller ship, possibly a launch or patrol boat. The flag header is marked WHITE ENS 4 with a BROAD ARROW stamped together with production number 5713298.
The flag appears free of Moth or other damage, and has clear colors with little bleed over. It definitely could use a good ironing, as it is creased from poor folding. In great condition, still has its intact hemp rope halyard, with brass clips at each end. Ready to display!
