Original Item: Only One Available. In full working order, this is an very nice WWII Era British Military Issue Stopwatch. This is the type that was used on bombing raids over Germany as well as setting Torpedo Timings during WWII. The face is marked:
SMITHS
SHOCKPROOF
1/100 TH. MIN.
The casing looks to be chrome plated with a stainless steel back. Interestingly the watch divides each minute into 100 parts, as opposed to 60 seconds, which make calculations somewhat easier. It functions like a standard stop watch, with the top knob winding the spring, while pressing it resets the watch to zero. The second button at 10 o’clock starts and stops the watch.
The case has some very nice markings on the reverse:
H.S. (Broad Arrow) 7
1210
Just like you see in the movies, the real thing and still in full working condition. Ready to use or display!
There is no warranty for this watch and returns for a non-working watch will not be honored. Please note all watches are wound and tested then recorded on video before shipment. We are not in the watch repair business- ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
