Original Item: Only One Available. This is very cute and just shows what idle hands can create at a time of endless inactivity. Considered “Trench Art”, this is a Cigarette lighter completely made of Brass. The reservoir is capped with two Tunic Royal Flying Corps or Royal Air Force buttons. The R.F.C. officially became the R.A.F. in April 2018 during WWI, but the buttons they used remained the same, so it is unfortunately to definitively say whether this is a WWI or WWII lighter.
Measuring just about 1″ round with the addition of the Wick and circular flint wheel, this could fit into any battledress pocket. Appears in fully working order and condition if fitted with a fresh flint, a wick cover, and topped up with lighter fluid.
Surface worn from use, very romantic and ready to use or Display.
