Original Item: Only One Available. Dating from the earliest days of Aviation warfare this is a short officer’s swagger stick in the form of a riding crop with silvered ball to top, tarnished, displaying the RFC eagle under a King’s Crown of the Royal Flying Corp and later the Royal Air Force (RAF).
Understandably measuring just 20″ overall length plus the 3.5 leather switch on the end. Made from very good springy malacca cane, this was a not cheap accessory when privately purchased during World War One. The ultimate sign of an officer, no doubt extensively used when waved around in the cock pit!
