Also included is the pilot’s original WW1 issue leather bound goggles with writing clearly printed in gold on front of mask, left side written:

Offered in very nice condition, goggles are yellow tinted triplex lenses set in metal surrounds set in brown leather mask with brown fur lining and brown elastic strap. Another example is part of the permanent collection at the Imperial War Museum catalogue number EQU 2191.
This is a very hard set to find, straight out of the attic, totally unaltered and offered in very good collectible condition.
