Original Item. Only One Available. This is a British made brown leather pistol holster especially made for use with a British Flare Gun or Signal Pistol during WWI. It is made of substantial brown leather with all the stitching intact. These were Designed to fit the Webley No.1 MkV and other flare pistols of a similar shape and configuration. They featured a distinctive flared muzzle end, which is why the holster has to be so wide.
The rear is marked H.G.R. 1916 for Hepburn, Gale and Ross Ltd., manufactured in 1916, under a faint King’s Crown stamp. In addition to the holster it comes complete with is integral brown leather belt/buckle for use as a body sling. Holster stud and sling buckle are made of brass.
