Original Item: Only One Available. This massive mid-brown quality leather Revolver holster is for an enormous Victorian era handgun, BUT we do not know for which it was designed. It measures 10 inches long on the barrel side, and is 2 inches longer on the grip side. Probably for one of the very large Adams or Webley revolver.
If features an interesting and unusual BRASS closing hook for the flap and having a Cleaning rod compartment on the front of the Holster. Designed to be worn on a leather waist belt, possibly a “Sam Browne” style, as it has one substantial belt loop to rear.
The holster is also fitted with an oval leather butt protector, something else we’ve not encountered before. Very impressive large CROWN over V.R. stamp to rear. In lovely condition, still supple and in great display condition.
