Original Item: Only One Available. This is a high quality Victorian era Law Enforcement small but very substantial Police Truncheon, almost certainly carried by an Officer of Rank or Detective on a mount (horse). Made from a very heavy hard wood with a substantial brass pommel, with the remains of the wrist thong through the pommel mount. The body of the truncheon wood faintly but unmistakably marked with a Queen Victoria royal cypher: a CROWN stamped over V.R.. The marking is small and within an inch or two of the forward end.
From an old Police Collection purchased in London in 2018, and we’ve never seen one similar. In excellent Condition and ready to display!
