Original Item: One Only. This is really unusual item we received out of a private collection. It appears to be a standard British Constabulary Cutlass with Ray skin covered grip and black leather scabbard. However, this one is all steel mounted, rather than the standard brass usually used. It measures 29″ in overall length with 23 1/2″ fullered blade.
There was a release button on the left side of the guard to disconnect the sword from the scabbard, but the spring is now too weak to operate it and the dome of the button is now absent, leaving only the stem. The steel mounted scabbard is engraved on the rear of the top mount :-
