Original Item. Only One Available. This is a gorgeous Civil War Era powder flask featuring a decorative pattern on the exterior. The flask was made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, one of the major British manufacturers of the Industrial Revolution.
The flask measures approximately 11” long, one of the larger examples we have seen. The cap still screws on and off without issue, but the spring to hold the hole closed when not in use is broken, so there is no tension. There is no powder remaining in the flask. There is a small crack at the bottom at the seam. This example dates to the Civil War period. A very beautiful flask that will fit well into any Civil War or 19th Century firearm collection!
