Original Item: Only One Available. Original Item: Only One Available. Manufactured after 1901 displaying “King’s Crown” this is the British equivalent of the German Pickelhaube Helmet leather helmets of the First World War.
The cork body of this helmet is covered by blue cloth and all the mounts are gilded brass. The helmet plate (badge) shows the regimental cypher of Lion and Unicorn over the Royal Artillery regiment Napoleonic wheeled cannon. Leather liner sweatband now absent. Complete with with original ringed chin scales. The helmet is maker marked on the interior:
