Original Item: Only One Available. This is a genuine Victorian Era pre-1881 regimental buckle of the 67th (South Hampshire) Regiment of Foot. The 67th was an infantry regiment of the British Army, formed in 1758 and amalgamated into The Hampshire Regiment in 1881.
This regiment served notably in the Chinese Campaign of the SECOND OPIUM WAR of 1860,
taking part in the Battle of the TAKU FORTS. When 22 Chinese Forts were captured by the British, this resulted in China capitulating to British demands.
