Original Item: Only One Available. This is most impressive, with a white paint finish overall, and a large “Wolseley” style brim. The Helmet plate is made of brass, with a Queen’s Crown over a band ring surrounding E R II, for Queen Elizabeth II, who has reigned since 1953. The band ring itself states BAHAMAS POLICE in relief, and behind the badge is a piece of red field to highlight it. The helmet bears a removable brass spike, similar to those used in Victorian times that the Army used on tier parade helmets.
Chin strap absent but with leather ring liner still in place, though it is definitely worn and partly detached. This is definitely a helmet that saw some real use.
An unusual Police White Pith Helmet once used by Police in the Bahamas. Ready to display!
