It is marked by maker EDWARD MIDDLETON on both lock plates, who worked on Aston Road in Birmingham in the middle of the 19th century. Fitted with 30″ percussion barrels, the Shotgun is 50″ in overall length.
This is what so many American Cabins had hanging over the fireplace. In collectible condition for a hunting trophy for your mantelpiece.
