Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very high quality French made Chilean Cavalry saber. It is 85cm long, slightly curved ‘T’ profiled blade bearing a Chilean coat of arms and maker’s poincons. The back edge of the blade is marked Manufacture d’armes de Chatellerault JH for Jacob Holtzer.

This is a most spindled looking sword with a huge slotted bowl steel hand guard. The grip is made of molded bakelite, very popular at the turn of the century.
Offered in near unissued condition featuring a slightly curved blade with Chilean Army Crest stamped into the steel blade near the hilt. Contained in the original all steel scabbard with one hanging ring. Truly Germanic in design this is a magnificent Cavalry Sword!
