This incredibly detailed artwork is of the famed German Junkers Ju 87, better known as the Stuka. The Stuka was a German dive bomber and ground-attack aircraft. Designed by Hermann Pohlmann, it first flew in 1935. The Ju 87 made its combat debut in 1937 with the Luftwaffe’s Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War of 1936–1939 and served the Axis in World War II from beginning to end (1939–1945).
The artwork is in wonderful condition with all colors still vibrant and beautiful. Original artwork by Uwe Feist is becoming more difficult to find! One of the best ways to protect your artwork is by framing it. Placing your painting or drawing in a UV protective frame blocks the signature from ultraviolet rays that cause fading. Also, framing your art makes it nearly impossible for damage to occur from any spills, smudges, or folding. The contents were framed using conservation clear glass featuring Tru Vue, UV light blocking protection.
