Original Item: Only One Available. This is truly primitive being a creation from the back woods of America, probably in the 1840 – 1860 period. It has a home made half stock which has had a good attempt at being checkered. The side lock percussion system is equally of low quality. The butt plate, trigger guard are of iron and the brass throat pipe look as if they were harvested from other original guns of the period.
This is a great decorator reminding us of how basic life became on the Old Frontier. Ready to display!
