Original item: Only One Available. This has the romance which every Schoolboy craved. This Flintlock Pistol that dates to 1800 to 1820 and originates in the Ottoman Empire, that today we refer to as Turkey. However at that time the Empire embraced much of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and across Northern Africa.
This pistol has a wood stock which is heavily inlaid with silver and brass wire designs. The iron barrel and the lock are engraved and the barrel might even have come from Western Europe and have been incorporated in this pistol’s construction. This is the typical “PIRATE FLINTLOCK PISTOL” found in the 1820’s off the Coast of North Africa that became known as the BARBARY PIRATES.
Still dirty and uncleaned after more than 100 years in long term storage we offer this gem which appears to be fully operational but definitely NOT TO BE FIRED.
Offered “AS IS” for the buyer to clean and display, absolutely original and authentic!
