Original Item: Only One Available. While this was never a high art pistol, it is still quite attractive, and a worthy addition to any collection. This pistol was intended for self protection, so ornamentation was kept to a minimum. It has TWO side by side rifled barrels in approximately .38cal, both of which are 3 inches long. Its overall length is about 7 1/2 inches.
The system is of a center box lock design with simple plant engraving on either side of the frame. It has a wood bag shaped grip with, interestingly, a silver escutcheon in the shape of a shield for the owner’s initials or other markings. The escutcheon is still unmarked as when new.
The two triggers are protected by a wide iron trigger guard, but overall the pistol is quite concealable. In a nice fully cleaned condition with no Maker markings whatsoever. Could be American or possibly Belgian manufacture.
Ready to Display.
