New Made Museum Quality Replica Item. Only One Available. During the early 1980’s The British company “Collector’s Heritage” produced 200 copies of this model Sword for the Collector’s Market, now all long gone – except for this one. IMA supplied the original sample for these copies, and we are happy to offer one of the 200 copies made long ago,
This model of Sword was issued to the 1st Life Guards and is so indicated by the brass # 1 incorporated between the letters L and G under the Victorian crown on the bowl guard. It retains the original sharkskin grip, copies had leather grips, and the blade is maker marked to the London Company of HAWKES & CO.
The replica is in great condition and mimics the original very well. A great model of sword, ready for display.
