New Made Item: Known as “Slade-Wallace Equipment” after its two designers, Colonel Slade and Major Wallace these were not previously available, this is the white leather harness worn by British Infantry all around the world for use with the first .303 cal. issued rifles in 1888.
The set consists of: waist belt with brass snake buckle, two ammunition pouches with belt loops and inner compartments for .303 cal ammunition. Also included is the leather bayonet belt frog designed to accept all the various bayonets in use at the time, and the over the shoulder cross straps that give the essential support required when carrying full ammo pouches and bayonets.
Produced very close to the originals and issued in Polished white Leather with Brass Hardware. You can’t find higher quality for less money than this.
