Vintage Replica Item: Only One Available. This is a fantastic high quality replica of a Belgian WWII Browning Hi-Power Semi-Automatic Pistol, often called the M1935 after the year of introduction. This is a “Plug Fire” replica gun, made by the well-known model gun manufacturers, Nakata of Japan. The Browning Hi-Power pistol, first produced in 1935, are one of the best combat pistols ever designed. Lightweight, accurate, with a comfortable grip angle and chambered in 9mm with a 13-round capacity magazine, the Hi-Power is still being used or has just recently replaced by military forces in over 50 countries worldwide
The pistol operates the same as a real Browning Hi-Power pistol when used with the cap/plug fire cartridges. We have not tested the pistol, so we cannot guarantee functionality. Everything appears to work fine, though the replaced Pachmayr grips unfortunately were made for the original Hi-Power, and do not quite fit right on the replica, though they do look great. It comes complete with 6 original brass “cartridges”.
These work with replica “cartridges”, which have small caps “plugged” into the front of them, which are then detonated by the replica bolt. These were ejected like real spent cartridges, and could be reloaded with additional caps. Unfortunately the original caps were used and sadly lost long ago.
A perfect addition to the Model Gun Collector or the WWII Collector alike!
