Original Item: Only One Available. Just released from one of America’s most prestigious collections, this is a German Tank (Panzer) MG 34 Machine Gun built into an inert Display Gun using original parts and totally unrestricted to own without license by federal Law.
In WW2 German tanks were equipped with MG 34 Machine guns that were fitted with virtually no ventilation holes in the barrel jackets. These weapons did not utilize Butt Stocks or Bipods when installed inside the tank, However in the event of the tank becoming disabled a separate Butt Stock and clamp on Foresight assembly with bipod mount slot and bipod were stored inside the tank for converting the weapon to infantry use so the Tank Crew had some sort of personal weapons while making their way by foot back to the German line.
This particular MG 34 Panzer Display Machine gun is coded “dot” for Bruno manufacture and dated 1942.
This is an exceptionally rare WW2 MG34 variation that has not been available in many years.
