Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß) with correct leather belt. It is embossed with the wartime Luftwaffe straight tail eagle. Nice aluminum construction box buckle with a pebbled background. The buckle is in very good condition, with all the pebbling in good condition, and most of the detail in the eagle present. The buckle is marked with an interlocking P C in a diamond, and the leather tab still has the full manufacturers marking and date:
PAULMANN & CRONE
1937
LÜDENSCHEID
Additionally the tab has an L.B.A. stamp on it, for Luftwaffebekleidungsamt, which means Air Force Clothing Office. This was only seen in the Pre-WWII and early war days, and makes this buckle very desirable.
The belt itself measures about 33” when fully extended. and definitely looks to have been cut down by a few inches. The leather is definitely worn, but condition is solid with no holes or tears, and leather is soft and pliable. There is a marking on the aluminum belt clip, but we cannot make it out.
Overall a very nice example of a hard to find WWII German Belt and buckle, with some great markings. Ready to display!
