Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice black soft shell leather pistol holster for a Walther PP and possibly other small 7.65mm pistols. It is clearly on the inside under the flap with German wartime maker markings cny 44, for 1944 production by C. Pose of Berlin. This is a known maker of holsters and other leather military accoutrements.
The overall condition of the holster is very good, especially considering the age. The leather is supple, and has intact heavy stitching, original belt loops, and intact and functional closure strap, attached to the break away front. There is some splitting and cracking around the eyelet in the closure strap, and the button on the flap does show some oxidation. The holster also appears to have had the stitching around the bottom of the holster redone, as well as on the seam that attaches the break away flap to to the holster. We assume this was done during the post war period, as these holsters often continued to be used well after the end of WWII.
A really nice solid holster that will complete any WWII Walther PP or similar sized 7.65mm pistol. Ready to use or display!
