Original Item: Only One available. German Early War production WW2 Artillery Officer’s Visor Cap offered in very good condition. This is an honest example with wonderful early war features.
Body exterior is constructed of correct grey green smooth wool with red wool piping around top and around the dark green wool cap band. Eagle is a bullion embroidered version which is a bit loose, wreath bullion embroidered with an early war metal cockade. Chinstrap is the standard type made of silver aluminum wire, the visor brim is thin fiber type with black gloss finish.
The inside is lined with an off-white rayon type material which sows some were at the forehead and some staining from sweat. The brown leather sweat band is very nice and complete. Size is written in ink on the inside of the sweatband 56cm US 7.
The celluloid diamond is present and the maker information is in silver and reads:

The interior condition is very nice with minor wear to the lining. The caps exterior is near excellent with light field wear. This is a genuine officer service cap that was worn and used in the field of combat.
